Hello, I’m Rebecca Levison, a mother of three, an occupational therapist, and the founder of FLOW.

FLOW was born almost by accident, during one of the most complex and turbulent times I experienced as a parent (and as a person). I realized the essential need for a safe haven and a doorway to a magical world for my children. Through this experience, I discovered the profound impact that the physical environment has on supporting the emotional and developmental needs of children.

Today, I’m delighted to share my dream which became a reality.

At FLOW, we firmly believe that a parent’s most significant role is to create a safe and nurturing environment that fosters their child’s development.

Does it sound challenging? Not when you have FLOW.

We achieve this by thoughtfully selecting items and toys and by designing environments that ignite their natural curiosity, inviting them to explore, experience, and grow.

Let’s flow

The name “FLOW” was not chosen by accident. From the very beginning, it was clear to me that every item we offer would be thoughtfully and purposefully selected to encourage children to find their flow. The state of “flow” is when children lose track of time, completely immersed in an activity they love. It’s the optimal learning moment. These moments occur when a child leads an activity based on their interests and engages in imaginative play. Imaginative play is a vital component of a child’s cognitive, physical, language, social, and emotional development. It equips children with the skills they need to master the real world.

3 Children 2 Suitcases, 4 Weeks after childbirth

Our journey began in Kiev, in February 2022. The winds of war were blowing, and we knew it was time to move. After five years of living in the beautiful city on the Dnieper River – years that were professionally challenging for me but crucial for my identity as a mom – our lives as we knew them changed overnight. We returned to Israel and embarked on the journey of redefining our lives.

During this period of change and transition for my children, I realized the importance of finding emotional, playful, and physical anchors that would ground them.

That’s how, without fully understanding it at the time, the foundation for FLOW was laid.

An innocent pillow fight transformed into a castle in the middle of our temporary living room, where my kids spent countless hours in their imaginative world. Through all of this, I stumbled upon a brilliant invention known as a play couch and realized it was exactly what I had been searching for. I embarked on a journey of designing, planning, imagining, and dreaming day and night about FLOW, and one day, it became a reality – a space brimming with inspiration, surprises, and knowledge for parents like me who aspire to create the most enabling and supportive developmental environment for their children.
